Indigenous artisan families still live in poverty with little ability to provide for their families. Many artisans have already moved to the capital city of Asuncion, where they think they can find work and better their lives. In reality, these artisans end up living in the slums of Asuncion, washing clothes, selling gum on the streets or begging on the corners.
By sponsoring an artisan family or child, you help insure that the family will live with dignity in their indigenous community and better their lifestyle.
Your monthly sponsorship fee of $30 will go directly to the artisan and their family, providing for betterment of their health, education and social development.
